COOKIE & TRACKING CONSENT COMPLIANCE

Your cookie banner probably isn’t set up correctly.

Most sites load Google Analytics, ad pixels, and chat widgets before anyone clicks accept — including sites that already have a banner. We find what’s firing early, fix it, prove it’s fixed, and keep it that way.

  • A plain-English report of what loads before consent, with screenshots
  • Audit what happens when a visitor clicks reject — where most setups fail
  • No cost and no obligation for the initial audit

Tell us where to look and we’ll scan it the way a real visitor loads it.

We’ll only use this to run your audit and get back to you. No list, no sequence.

THE PROBLEM

The notice shows up. The scripts run anyway.

Consent plugins ship with blocking switched off by default, because turning it on without categorizing your scripts first tends to break things. The setup step gets skipped, the banner appears, and everyone reasonably assumes the job is finished.

A banner that appears but doesn’t gate anything gives you the paperwork of compliance without the substance of it. Worse, it looks handled — so nobody checks, sometimes for years.

What we actually do

STAGE 01

Audit

We scan your site the way a real visitor loads it and record everything that happens before consent — every cookie set, every third-party script, every request going out. Then we do it again after clicking reject, because that’s where most existing setups fall apart. You get a plain-English report with screenshots.

STAGE 02

Banner Setup

We implement or reconfigure your consent management platform, categorize every script on your site, and wire the blocking so nothing loads until a visitor agrees to it. Google Consent Mode gets configured so your analytics keep working correctly within the rules.

STAGE 03

Testing

We verify nothing fires before consent and confirm that reject actually rejects. We check the regional differences behave — EU and UK visitors get what those laws require, US opt-out signals are honored, and everyone else’s experience is unchanged. Tested across browsers, not just ours.

STAGE 04

Maintenance

We re-scan your site every month, automatically. When a new script shows up that isn’t properly gated — a campaign pixel, a chat widget, a plugin update quietly adding a tracker — we catch it and fix it. You get a quarterly report either way.

WHY NOW

This stopped being a technicality

There’s been a steady run of US lawsuits over tracking scripts on company websites — particularly around ad pixels and session-recording tools.

  • Roughly twenty states have passed their own privacy laws in the last few years, most carrying consent and opt-out requirements that didn’t exist when your site was built.
  • If your site reaches visitors in the EU or UK, those rules have been in force for years — and enforcement has gotten steadily less patient.
  • Ad platforms increasingly expect a valid consent signal. Without one, your measurement degrades whether or not anyone complains.

WHO THIS IS FOR

Real sites with real tracking on them

Ecommerce, SaaS, professional services, publishers — especially if you’re running paid advertising or retargeting.

If you have a marketing team adding pixels, or a site that’s been running long enough that nobody’s certain what’s on it any more, that’s exactly the situation this is built for.

We’re not attorneys and this isn’t legal advice. We handle the technical side: making sure what’s on your site does what you think it does.
