Both. A good share of our work is picking up a site somebody else built — extending it, fixing what’s fragile, or taking over maintenance. We also build from scratch, most often for public sector and nonprofit clients where accessibility and long-term maintainability matter more than launching fast.

No minimum. A fair amount of what we do is a single well-defined fix — one plugin conflict, one integration, one feature a client has been working around for a year. Tell us what’s wrong and we’ll tell you whether it’s an afternoon or a project. We’d rather say “that’s an hour” than pad it into a retainer.

Managed WordPress starts at $100/month per site. Our plugins are fixed-price with an annual license. Custom development and consent compliance work are scoped per project, because a five-page brochure site and a WooCommerce store with three integrations are not the same job. You get a number before anything starts.

Yes, deliberately. It’s what we know deeply rather than passably. If your project is a better fit for another platform we’ll say so early instead of taking the work and learning on your budget.

Regularly. We’re often the WordPress specialists sitting next to an in-house team, a design agency, or an existing vendor — handling the part that needs depth in the platform while everyone else does what they’re good at. We’re comfortable with layered approvals and multiple stakeholders; a lot of our public sector work runs that way.

Whatever you want to happen. Some clients take the site, the documentation, and a training session, and run it themselves — that’s a legitimate outcome and we build so it’s possible. Others move onto a maintenance plan. What we try to avoid is the version where you need us for every small change because nobody else can understand the build.

No. We’re not attorneys and consent compliance work isn’t legal advice. We handle the technical side — making sure what’s on your site does what you think it does, and that you can show what it’s doing. Whether that meets your obligations is a conversation for your counsel, and we’re happy to give them something concrete to look at.
